FOUR CORNERS

  • Government surveillance is necessary to keep us safe.  You shouldn’t worry about it if you are not doing anything wrong.
  • Torture is an appropriate way to gather intelligence as long as the prisoner does not die.
  • If the government can prove you were thinking about a crime, they should be able to arrest you.
  • We are living in a “post-factual world.”

Friday, December 6th

Continue with your group critiques today!

AT EXHIBITION, you will need display:
Your written rhetoric
Your visual piece
Your bibliography
Your project topic/question/thesis/title should be clearly on display in a way that allows folks to see at a glance what your project addresses. Perhaps make a "table tent" if this isn't otherwise on display.
(OPTIONAL): Your personal essay, especially if it helps your audience understand your message

Project Submission and Self-Assessment (due Sunday, December 8, midnight)

  • Submit an annotated version of your project where you have used the bullet points of the rubric to demonstrate how your project meets the standards (or doesn’t).  For video projects, this “annotation” can be done on your script and/or by giving a detailed run-down of where in your video you have met the rubric standards.
  • Include a copy of the rubric scored on parts A-D.  What grade do you deserve on this project?
