  • Collage Vision Quest! What piece of yourself do you want to put into this?

  1. A passage or quote from everyone! Something you have written in the project or something you write right now! Enlarge your words and make them a "pull quote"! Be sure to put your name on the quote! Play with font, color, etc! Have some fun.
  2. Project work! Art project: print your artist statement! The collage will be built around our art. Other images from the project!
  3. Quotes from poets and authors that are part of our intertextuality! Images of beauty! Let's be creative here!
  4. Who wants to be a part of the beautification efforts post-collage process? Jessica will write a reflection on the piece from teacher eyes.

O Me! O Life!

Oh me! Oh life! of the questions of these recurring,
Of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities fill’d with the foolish,
Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?)
Of eyes that vainly crave the light, of the objects mean, of the struggle ever renew’d,
Of the poor results of all, of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me,
Of the empty and useless years of the rest, with the rest me intertwined,
The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life?

                                       Answer.
That you are here—that life exists and identity,
That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.
