- What is this student's
environmental ethic?
- Does he/she use elements of the
“Grand Style” to SHOW the place to the reader? (at least two of
the following should be present: metaphor, simile, analogy, alliteration,
assonance, onomatopoeia, sensory images like sight, taste, touch, sound,
smell). QUOTE the lines from the writing and explain which element
of the Grand Style it uses.
- Overall, what is your reaction
to this piece? Do you like it? What specifically do you like? What
questions did it raise for you?
